Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Gandhinagar on the evening of Sunday 4th December and met his mother Heeraben Modi. The PM will cast his vote in Ahmedabad in the second phase of Gujarat elections tomorrow, 5th December. Campaigning for the second and last round came to an end on Saturday. In the second phase, votes will be cast on 93 seats in 14 districts. In the first phase on December 1, votes were cast on 83 seats. According to the Election Commission, more than 63 per cent polling was recorded in the first phase.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will exercise his vote at Nishal School located in Ranip of Sabarmati assembly constituency. On the preparations for the second phase of Gujarat assembly elections, Ahmedabad's Chief Fire Officer Anirudh Gadhvi said that all the preparations have been completed by the administration. Wherever there may be traffic, we have discussed with the traffic management for an alternative route and the officers of the fire department will be ready. We have also worked on the emergency evacuation plan, and for that too, complete preparations have been made.

Prime Minister Modi will come to Delhi immediately after casting his vote in Gandhinagar tomorrow. He will inaugurate the meeting of party officials here. In-charge, co-in-charge, in-charge of fronts and organization ministers of all states will participate in the meeting. The strategy for next year's assembly elections will also be discussed in the meeting.
