Poison dissolved in the air of Delhi-NCR, Air Quality Index crossed 400, difficulty in breathing- Watch Video

The air quality in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab turned very toxic on Saturday as incidents of stubble burning suddenly increased. There is a danger of it getting polluted in the coming days. On Saturday, Delhi's AQI was 397 and around it was 400 in Haryana's Faridabad, 367 in Ghaziabad, UP, 385 in Greater Noida, 375 in Gurugram, 381 in Noida, 364 in Sonipat, 381 in Manesar, 371 in Bahadurgarh.

AQI Reached Above 400 in many cities 

AQI has been recorded above 400 at 16 places. This is the highest level of pollution in most cities this year. Five days ago, the air quality data of Delhi and NCR showed that the air on Diwali was the best in 8 years. In fact, till October 24, only 45 to 50% of the crops were harvested in Punjab as compared to the previous year.

Stuble Burning in Punjab Continues 

ISRO's satellite images showed that Punjab witnessed 10,214 stubble burning incidents from September 15 to October 28, an increase of 33.5% over the previous year's 7,648 incidents. Of these, more than 7100 i.e. about 70% of the incidents have happened in the last five days only.
