Preparing to make Aditya Thackeray the face of Hindutva, Shiv Sena's big game plan to send Aditya Thackeray to Ayodhya

Aditya Thackeray, a minister in the Maharashtra government, reached Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. It is believed that through this visit, Shiv Sena is preparing to present Aditya Thackeray as the face of Hindutva. However, the party has described the visit as purely 'religious'.

In fact, since leaving the BJP, Shiv Sena is facing allegations of compromise with Hindutva. In such a situation, through the Ayodhya Yatra, Shiv Sena will try to prove that Hindutva is important for him even today.

Aditya Thackrey’s plan

Aditya Thackeray will visit Ramlala in the evening. In addition he will visit the Janmabhoomi site before participating in the aarti on the banks of river Saryu. On reaching Lucknow airport, before leaving for Ayodhya, he tweeted, “Towards the holy land of Ayodhya… Jai Siya Ram”. Aaditya, son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who is here on his one-day visit, will hold a meeting with party functionaries and interact with reporters.

The visit comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (NNS) have criticised Shiv Sena for “abandoning Hindutva”. Shiv Sena formed the government in Maharashtra in alliance with Congress and Nationalist Congress Party after ending a decades-old alliance with the BJP.

Aditya Thackrey on Visiting Ayodhya

Aaditya Thackeray said, 'We are all descendants of Ram. We have talked to him also. Good thing has happened. He has also welcomed We belong to the people here. from Lord Shri Ram. Lord Shri Ram and Sita Maiya are all in our hearts. That is why even at that time, the role of Hindu Hriday Samrat Bal Thackeray came for the first time after taking oath as the Chief Minister of Uddhav Thackeray.”

Aaditya Thackeray said, 'Ayodhya is a holy land. It is related to the faith of India. It is related to our faith. I have come to see and have been watching very closely. When he came in 2018, the slogan was given – first temple then government. Then the atmosphere was created. There was also speed from the side of the court. Then came the decision. Now the temple is under construction. I thank the court. Today when we have come, it is not a matter of politics. It is a matter of our faith.”
