In many districts of UP including Prayagraj, CM Yogi has become strict regarding the ruckus after Namaz. He called a meeting of top officials in the capital Lucknow. CM Yogi has already given clear instructions that strict action should be taken against the culprits. Those who have tried to take the law into their own hands, have been asked to teach them a lesson. It is believed that the district officials have been given a free hand to take action against the culprits.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that the situation is completely under control in all the districts.The arrest of miscreants involved in violence and arson has started.Violators are also being marked from the video.A total of 109 miscreants have been arrested till 7.30 pm on Friday.In this, 38 have been arrested from Saharanpur, 15 from Prayajrajaj, 24 from Hathras, seven from Moradabad, two from Firozabad and 23 from Ambedkar Nagar.
The ADG said that some people have intentionally instigated the matter.Everyone will be marked.Any damage caused to public and private property will be recovered.Property will also be confiscated under the Gangster Act.

Prayagraj Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar said that after Friday prayers, people of a particular community raised slogans and pelted stones at policemen in Khuldabad and Kareli police station areas. Though the situation is now under control, some policemen have suffered minor injuries in stone pelting, he said. He said that the police and administration are monitoring the situation.
In Saharanpur, some people raised slogans with placards in their hands after the prayers in protest against the alleged objectionable remarks of suspended BJP leader Sharma against Prophet Mohammad. Police said that some people pelted stones at the police in Nehru Bazar area, while in Deoband too after the prayers, some students of madrasa raised slogans with poster-banners.
