Senior Delhi Police officers have arrived at Rahul Gandhi’s home. Rahul Gandhi actually provided a statement during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, and the police have since visited his home to question him about that statement.
A Delhi Police squad has arrived at the home of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. According to reports, Special CP Sagar Preet Hooda of the Delhi Police has arrived at his residence in connection with the notice. The Delhi Police had already issued Rahul a notice for his ‘sexual harassment’ comments during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
On the final day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar, Rahul Gandhi claimed that sexual exploitation of women continues to occur. Following this, the Delhi Police had filed a notice to Rahul Gandhi on March 16, asking who women are those who have claimed this. Rahul had also been asked by the police to provide information about those women.
Police said, “We have come here to talk to Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had given a statement on January 30 in Srinagar that during the visit he met many women and they told him that they were raped. Have come to collect information about the same so that the victims can get justice. The police tried to collect information about the case on March 15 but failed and sent a notice on March 16.”
