Rail track stolen in Bihar, tracks up to 2KM missing | Bihar News- Watch Video

Thieves in Bihar have uprooted railway tracks up to two kilometers. The news pertains to Samastipur Railway Division. It is said that two kilometres of railway track was sold without any tender. After the disclosure of the matter, the Railway Board has also suspended two RPF officers in a hurry. Apart from Jhanjharpur RPF outpost in-charge Srinivas of Railway Division, Jamadar Mukesh Kumar Singh of Madhubani is included in this.

Police Inquiry Going on 

Regarding the matter, Divisional Security Commissioner SK A Jani said that the matter of wrongly disappearing scrap of railway line from Pandaul station regarding Lohat sugar mill came on January 24. Action has been taken on this. Investigation is being done by forming an inquiry committee at the departmental level. If the case is found to be true on both the police officers then an FIR will be registered.

Railway line was laid from Pandaul station of Samastipur Railway Division to Lohat Sugar Mill. This line was closed after the sugar mill was closed for a long time. The track of the railway line was being sold to the scrap dealer with the connivance of RPF without auction. Some goods were also caught, for which an FIR has been registered in Darbhanga RPF post. It is being said that both the police officers caught in this scrap being sold had a hand.Apart from RPF, under the leadership of Divisional Security Commissioner SK A Jani, the team of Vigilance, SIB and CIB of RPF continued to brainstorm on this matter till late night of last Friday. After the meeting, the Divisional Security Commissioner has constituted a committee to investigate the matter.
