Rajasthan Cabinet: Revision in Gehlot's cabinet; 15 new leaders took oath on Sunday

After a long tussle withing Rajasthan Congress, satisfactory and cooperative images between the Sachin Pilot camp and Ashok Gehlot Camp finally floated yesterday as Rajasthan’s cabinet was revised. The state cabinet of Rajasthan was revamped on Sunday and 15 new members were included in the government.

On Saturday, CM Ashok Gehlot had taken the resignation of all the ministers of Rajasthan to form a revised cabinet and new minister were sworn in to their respective offices on Sunday. Five leaders close to Sachin Pilot were made a part of the amended cabinet. 11 cabinet ministers while 4 Ministers of State took oath during the swearing in ceremony on Sunday. 

Hemaram Choudhary, who belong to Pilot camp, first of all took the oath as the cabinet minister of Rajasthan. Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Rajasthan made the new ministers take the oath of secrecy and position in the swearing in ceremony organised at the Raj Bhawan.

Hemaram Chowdhary, Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Mamta Bhupesh, Bhajan Lal Jatav, Tikaram Jully, Ramlal Jat, Vishvendra Singh, Ramesh Meena, Mahesh Joshi, Govindram Meghwal, Shakuntla Rawat were sworn in as Cabinet Ministers by the governor of Rajasthan. 

Zahida, Brijendra Singh Ola, Rajendra Gudha and Murari Lal Meena took the oath as MoS.

Post the swearing in ceremony CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot said that everyone in the party are elated and satisfied with the new cabinet and this revision of cabinet marks the beginning of Congress’ preparations for the next assembly elections in the state. He also said that the government will live upto the expectations of people of Rajasthan. He further commented that the omission of MLAs from the cabinet doesn’t decrease their importance. 

Congress government in Rajasthan led by Ashok Gehlot will complete its 3 years in next month and this is the first-ever revision in the CM’s cabinet since the inception of the government three years ago.
