The meeting of Congress MLA Legislature Party in Rajasthan was to be held on Sunday night at CM Residence, but the news of several MLAs loyal to Gehlot not reaching the meeting came in the media. After which he held a meeting at the bungalow of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal and then from there he met the Speaker of the Assembly Dr. CP Joshi. Earlier, CM Ashok Gehlot had announced to contest for the post of AICC President.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot reached Delhi on Tuesday amidst the ongoing political fervour in Rajasthan. Sources close to Pilot said that Pilot has come to Delhi on personal work and it has nothing to do with the current political developments. He had gone to Delhi in the afternoon on a regular flight.
Meanwhile, Pilot has denied reports in a section of the media that he has spoken to the party high command regarding the current political developments. Pilot has tweeted this news as 'untrue'. ANI had claimed by quoting sources that- Congress MLA Sachin Pilot is in constant touch with the MLAs other than the supporting MLAs. He has asked his supporters to wait for the decision of the high command.
Congress leader Ajay Maken, who was made an observer, had spoken about the action of the MLAs not coming to the meeting. Regarding this, the minister of CM Gehlot Pratapsinh Khachariawas said that disciplinary action should have been taken against those who went to Manesar in 2020. The MLAs are ready to accept the decision of Sonia Gandhi. The chair of PM or CM cannot be captured by making an impression through the Delhi media, for this one has to fight.
