As rain-induced floods continue to wreak havoc on parts of Rajasthan, a viral video from Jodhpur city last night shows several cars being washed away in the floods. In Rajasthan, heavy rains have caused a flood-like situation. Due to the Talera river rising due to the continuous rain in Bundi, 2-3 feet of water was seen on the Aktasa culvert.

Waterlogging has caused problems for people, and several are said to be trapped. Rajasthan continued to receive widespread rainfall, with heavy downpours in a few places in the state's east and light to moderate rains in many others.

According to the MeT department, Ajmer received the most rainfall in the state during the previous 24 hours, which ended at 8.30 a.m. Monday. Aligarh in Tonk received 7 cm of rain, Asind in Bhilwara received 6 cm, Pratapgarh received 5 cm, and Karauli's Sapotra and Jaipur's Bassi each received 4 cm.

Rainfall ranged from light to moderate in Banswara, Sawai Madhopur, Rajsamand, Jhalawar, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Nagaur, and Jalore districts.

The weather office has predicted light to moderate rains in most areas and heavy rains in some areas in the divisions of Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, and Udaipur. It is expected that light to moderate rains will continue to fall in pockets of Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Bikaner divisions.
