Rajnath Singh said on India-China Tawang Face-off, PLA was trying to encroach

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave his statement in the Parliament on Tuesday on the India-China Army Face-off in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Rajnath Singh said that on December 9, there was an attempt to change the status quo. But none of our soldiers was martyred in this, nor was any of our soldiers seriously injured.

Rajnath Singh’s statement on the matter

The country's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, "On December 9, 2022, the Chinese army attempted to unilaterally change the status quo by encroaching on the LAC in the Yangse area of Tawang sector. Our army bravely faced it. happened. The Indian Army firmly prevented the Chinese soldiers from encroaching. In the skirmish, the soldiers on both sides have suffered minor injuries. I want to tell the house that neither our soldiers died nor anyone seriously Injured. There was also a flag meeting between the two countries." 

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh further said, "I would like to inform this House that none of our soldiers have died or been seriously injured. Due to the timely intervention of the Indian military commanders, the PLA soldiers went back to places."
