This year people are very confused about the date of Raksha Bandhan. Some people consider it auspicious to tie Rakhi on 11th August, while others consider it auspicious on 12th August. According to Pandit Manish Sharma, the Mangal festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on 11 August 2022.
This year there is confusion on 11th August and 12th August that when Rakshabandhan should be observed due to Bhadra being on 11th August, ancient sages have presented their views in this regard, on the basis of which we will celebrate Rakshabandhan this year. is expected to. Apart from the time at different places, there is a difference of opinion in the date as well.
Raksha Bandhan and Shravani festival is celebrated on Shravana Purnima which covers the afternoon But if it is Bhadra, then it is forbidden: “Bhadrayam dve na kartavye Sravani Phalguni tatha”It is said in Purushartha Chintamani tax that when there is Bhadra on the first day in the afternoon, on the second day there is a full moon Muhuratray-vyapini and it ends before the afternoon, then on the second day Raksha Bandhan should be done in the afternoon.
Because the full moon will exist at that time. But this year Bhadra starts with full moon date starting from 10.37 am to 08.50 pm and full moon is till 07.04 am on 12th August. That is why this year Rakshabandhan and Shravani will be celebrated only after 08:50 night.
In such a situation, Rakhi can be tied in Abhijeet Muhurta on 11th August. According to the Muhurta calculation, on August 11, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11.37 pm to 12.29 pm in the afternoon. In the scriptures, Abhijeet Muhurta is considered to be the best and auspicious time among all the Muhurtas of the day. Any auspicious work or worship can be done in this Abhijeet Muhurta. Apart from this, there will be Vijay Muhurta from 02:14 pm to 03:07 pm on Thursday 11th August. In such a situation, Rakhi can be tied at this time in Bhadrakal. This time due to Bhadra, sisters will get less time to tie Rakhi. On August 11, Bhadra will remain in Poonch from 5:17 pm to 06.16 pm. After this, Bhadra Mukha will remain till 08 o'clock. In the scriptures, tying Rakhi at the time of Bhadra is not considered auspicious. But, if it is very necessary, then keeping in mind the time of Choghadiya, you can tie Rakhi.
