New Delhi: The Republic Day is approaching and the whole nation is excited to watch the grand spectacle of the Republic Day parade. This time India will celebrate 73rd Republic Day. On this day, the constitution came into force in 1950. The parade will take place at Rajpath, New Delhi. The event begins at 10 am and will conclude at 11:30 am.
People who want to attend the event of Republic Day Parade 2022 must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Children below the age of 15 will not be allowed to attend the Parade on 26 Janaury.
Delhi police have guided people to adhere to COVID-19 rules and protocols like wearing a mask, sanitizing themselves and maintaining social distance.
The police have urged people to travel in cabs or use carpools since there is limited space for parking this time in the parade.
UAVs, paragliders and hot air balloons over the national capital have been prohibited in view of the Republic Day celebrations.

People can easily access the live stream of the parade with the help of online portals. The parade will also be live-streamed on Doordarshan's YouTube Channel right from PM Modi visiting the National War Memorial at India Gate till the end of the parade. The Press Information Bureau will also be live-streaming the complete event of Parade on their respective Youtube channel.
The Republic Day Parade 2022 will also be broadcast live on news channels such as the DD National channel, like every year. Apart from watching the parade online, people also visit the venue to watch the parade live. This year approximately 24,000 people are allowed to attend the event.
