Biography of Satish Kaushik

On Wednesday, 66-year-old actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away in an unfortunate turn of events. The veteran actor was one of the most respected in the industry. His co-worker and actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news of his demise on twitter early in the morning.

Taking to his twitter handle Anupam Kher wrote “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”.

Who is Satish Kaushik

Satish Kaushik is a well known Indian actor and Filmmaker who is famous both among children and adults. He is famously known for his role of ‘Calendar’ in Anil Kapoor’s blockbuster ‘Mr. India’. His theatrical career began after graduating from the National School of Theatre and the Cinema and Television Institute of India.

Born on 13th April 1956 Satish  Mahendragarh, Haryana. He later graduated from  Kirori Mal College, Delhi in 1972 and is an alumnus of National School of Theatre and the Cinema and Television Institute of India.

Satish Kaushik tied his wedding knot with Shashi Kaushik in 1985. Unfortunately his son Sanu Kaushik died just when he was 2 years old following which the couple in 2012 welcomed their first daughter Vanshika through Surrogacy.
