School reopening 2021:
The Delhi schools are set to reopen partially for students of Class 10th and 12th from Monday i.e., today followed by an order from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) for the same. While the officials stated that the state education department is likely to release detailed guidelines and reopening protocols for schools and students.
The DDMA has also specified that schools, coaching centers, and universities will remain shut for the purpose of teaching and online classes will be promoted in every circumstance, except certain expended activities.
The DDMA in its orders said, “Students of Class 10 t 12 in the city are permitted to visit their schools from 9th August (Monday) for admission-related work including counseling, guidance, and practical activities for board exams. Health checkups and referral services situated in schools or conducted from there can resume. Children of all ages may visit these centers accompanied by their parents or guardians”.
Moreover, the DDMA has also allowed the opening of weekly markets across Delhi from today while the vendors and customers will have to follow the Covid-19 appropriate behavior.
