School reopening news: Amidst the risk of third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, know where students have tested positive

School reopening news:

Many states of the country have decided to open their schools after a fall in the new Covid-19 cases in India, however, the risk of the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic arriving is still increasing.

As the reports, many states have got their schools reopened before third wave for offline studies. Uttar Pradesh government will also reopen its schools from 16th August, and various universities and institutions will also reopen from 1st September for offline studies. 

3 states including Maharashtra have already reopened their schools from 15th July 2021 where no Covid-19 cases were being reported. However, the Solapur region of Maharashtra has reported 613 students reporting positive for the coronavirus, while no reports of schools shutting down again have emerged yet.

While Education Minister Manish Sisodia reported that parents and students were asked whether Delhi schools will reopen or not. And currently, a study on that is underway, while after that, a decision on when will Delhi schools reopen will be taken.

On the other hand, 6 students from 2 government schools in Haryana’s Fatehabad have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
