SCO Summit 2022: PM Narendra Modi said- We are moving towards making India a manufacturing hub

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the SCO Summit. During this, PMs of Uzbekistan, China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan were also present with him. PM Modi addressed all the heads of state in Hindi after the meeting. After a while he will hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

PM Modi’s statement

PM Modi threw light on India's startup to security. PM Modi said at the SCO summit held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, "The member countries of the SCO contribute about 30 percent of the global count and 40 percent of the world's population also resides in SCO countries. India is the largest among SCO members." Supports cooperation and mutual trust."

Apart from this, PM Modi said, "India is now becoming a manufacturing hub. India supports greater cooperation and mutual trust among SCO members. The pandemic and the crisis in Ukraine caused many disruptions in the global supply chain. Due to this, the whole world is facing an energy and food crisis.

Making India a manufacturing hub- PM Modi

Talking about India's growth, PM Modi said, "Making progress to make India a manufacturing hub. We are supporting innovation per sector. Today India has more than 70,000 start-ups in which There are more than 100 unicorns. Our experience can be useful to many SCO members. We are ready to share our experience with SCO members. We are making progress on making India a manufacturing hub. The economy is expected to grow at 7.5%, which will be the highest among the world's major economies. We are focusing on a people-centred growth model."
