In order to restore normalcy in the state, the Centre has begun an investigation, therefore the next two to three days will be crucial for Manipur, which has been ravaged by violence. In order to maintain peace and order in the state, the Centre has dispatched six companies of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) from Mumbai, Jharkhand, and Gujarat as well as six companies of the CRPF and BSF from Delhi and Punjab.
In the sensitive area, Army and Assam Rifles have already been deployed. Sources said that former CRPF DIG Kuldeep Singh, who was supposed to travel to Manipur on Friday, instead took a special flight that the Centre organized because the regular flight was not available.
