Parul Gulati is an Indian actress, model, and businesswoman who has appeared in several Pollywood (Punjabi) films. Parul Gulati recently appeared in the Season 2 finale of Shark Tank India. The sharks were impressed with her hair-extension brand, NIsh Hair and shark Amit Jain offered her one crore for 2% equity, which was exactly what Gulati requested.

Parul Gulati grew up in Rohtak, Haryana, India. She attended Rohtak’s private school for her education. She attended Rohtak’s private school for her education. When Parul was a 12th grader, an advertising company saw her Facebook photos and asked to use them in a car ad. Parul then executed several productive print and television advertisements. Parul then went to London to study acting at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (RADA), London.
She made her acting debut in Ekta Kapoor’s television series Kitni Mohabbat Hai (season 2) in 2010, with Nitin Sahrawat. She then appeared in a supporting role in a daily soap opera, Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam. Later that year, she played Rose in the film Burrraahh. Gulati took a year off after Burrraahh to finish her course at RADA and also did some theater in Mumbai. In 2014, she released her second film, Romeo Ranjha. In 2016, she played Jasleen opposite Yo Yo Honey Singh in director Vinnil Markan’s film Zorawar.
Gulati made her television debut with the Nikkhil Advani-directed TV series P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke for Star Plus. Parul received a lot of praise and appreciation for her portrayal of the Pakistani Urdu speaking girl, Afreen, who is married to a P.O.W. In 2018, she appeared in Ken Ghosh’s web series Haq Se. She portrayed journalist Jannat Mirza, who fights for justice and the dignity of women in the state of Kashmir. This web series adapts Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women into a modern-day tale of Kashmir, and Parul plays Jo March.
