Shehzada release date shifts as Pathaan goes unstoppable; ‘fear of Pathaan Box Office’ says Netizens
Kartik Aryan’s upcoming movie Shehzada will now release on 17th February, the film which was earlier slated for a 10th February 2023 release has now opted to shift its release date amid Pathaan’s storm. On the other hand Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan which was released on January 25th 2023 is still going strong on the Box office collection, creating and breaking multiple records straight. The rumors suggests that the delay in Shehzada release is unanimously opted  “out of respect for Pathaan“ since the movie is doing wonders for the Bollywood, however fans doubt that this was the sole reason of pushing the release date for the next week.

Shehzada release date changed out of respect for Pathaan

A press note released by the makers of Shehzada stated "Shehzada get a new release date! Out of respect for Pathaan, this Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Aravind, Aman Gill and Kartik Aaryan, the family entertainer will now release on 17th February 2023!'


About the film Shehzada 

The actor, who most recently co-starred with Alaya F in the film "Freddy," will now appear in the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which also starred Allu Arjun in the South version. The film is one of the much anticipated movies of Kartik Aryan, ever since his last theatrical release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 saved the sinking boat of Bollywood in 2022. 


Fans react on Shehzada new release date

As soon as the news started hitting the headlines, fans of SRK took to social media by storm commenting about Pathaan becoming a commercial hit. As per fans the makers of Shehzada are scared that Pathaan’s storm might affect the release of Shehzada and that the film might not be able to perform well in the situation. A twitter user wrote “The fear Kartik has from Pathaan’s success is praiseworthy” while the other said “Respect is just an excuse, it’s all fear”. Pathaan on its 6 days is scheduled to collect around 300 crore domestically.
