The first student automobile project in India has been announced by Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd. A special cabriolet version of the Skoda Rapid car has been developed by a select group of students in the Group Academy's dual vocational training in Mechatronics programme. With the help of this initiative, students will gain practical experience in the automotive sector and be able to put their classroom learning to use. Let's take a look at its specifications.

Skoda Rapid Convertible Specifications

The dashboard of the Skoda Rapid looks straightforward like stock, but the upholstery has a red-and-black dual-tone finish. The front seatbelts are currently concealed beneath the seats. Additionally, without the roof, the car's structural soundness is now in jeopardy, relegating it to status as a display car. This cabriolet has a full-size rear bench and is a true four-door vehicle. Sadly, a tonneau is absent. Passengers will therefore suffer in the event of rain and intense sunlight. Fortunately, it is merely a construct for display. The Rapid Cabriolet's alloy wheels, which are finished in a dark shade of black, provide the vehicle a striking contrast. Brake callipers are painted in a bright yellow colour to add to their charm.
