Slavia's first thing to notice is the cabin ambience and spaciousness. The use of high-quality materials throughout the cabin is prominent at the first go and the interiors do feel upmarket and lavish. Skoda has used design clues from Fabia (global model). Round AC vents, meshed with piano black highlights and a free-floating 8-inch touchscreen looks wonderful. The Twin-spoke steering wheel is great to hold too. Front seats offer enough bolstering and ergonomics of Slavia from drivers’ perspective are sorted. Ample storage spaces all over the cabin and a wide roomie rear bench make Slavia a very comfortable choice.
Slavia features some clever technology bits such as Kushaq sourced 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, leather upholstery, wireless phone charging, tilt & telescopic adjust for steering wheel along with an 8-speaker sound system.

Slavia will be using the same engine & gearbox options as seen on the Kushaq SUV. A 1.0 Lt TSI, 3-cylinder petrol engine, and a 1.5 Lt TSI, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine will be offered throughout the Slavia lineup. Skoda will offer a choice of 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic & 7-speed DSG gearbox options for Slavia. However, there will be no diesel engine on offer - this is something both the Verna and the City offer.

Skoda Slavia is expected to launch in March 2022. Prices will start at over Rs 10 lakh, going all the way to Rs 16-17 lakh for the top-end automatic versions.
When launched it’ll compete with the likes of Hyundai Verna. Offering more cabin space, a variety of engine and gearbox options, sturdily built quality, and a comfortable German ride; Slavia is expected to sell well. Although, the lack of diesel engine options and a few features make one wish for more.
