Sonia Gandhi ED Summons: ED questioning Sonia Gandhi, Congress's protest | National Herald Case

The National Herald (ED) probing money laundering in the case will interrogate Congress President Sonia Gandhi today. Against this, the Congress has once again made a strategy of demonstration across the country including Delhi. Congress leaders will be seen protesting in Delhi from Parliament to the road.

Congress is protesting across the country and alleging misuse of government agencies. The questioning of the Congress President started in the ED office from around 11 am on Thursday. Earlier, ED has also questioned Rahul Gandhi for several days for hours. Both the top Congress leaders are being questioned in the National Herald money laundering case. 

Senior Congress leaders will gather at the AICC office tomorrow to show solidarity with the party's interim president Sonia Gandhi. Party MPs will also be involved in this and later they will all go to the ED office. The party has also requested other opposition parties to show solidarity. At a meeting of opposition leaders on Monday, Mallikarjun Kharge and Jairam Ramesh urged other parties to join the protest on July 21.

Ashok Gehlot will also join the Protest

Delhi's demonstration Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will also participate in Delhi's demonstration. Demonstrations will not be allowed during the ongoing Parliament session in view of the tight security arrangements in the New Delhi area. Because of this, Congress workers will hold a big protest near Raj Bhavan in Delhi. 

All the state units have been instructed by the Congress leadership to protest outside the ED office or Raj Bhavans in their capital. All the big leaders of Congress are engaged in an exercise to make the demonstration vigorous. An important meeting of party leaders was held on Tuesday and Wednesday regarding this.
