Farm laws were revoked “undemocratically”, says Congress president Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi: Addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party on Wednesday, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi put many accusations against the Central government. Sonia Gandhi said that the Modi government undemocratically removed the farm laws in the same way it was enacted by them.

Sonia Gandhi appreciates the sacrifices and initiatives taken by the farmers for protesting against the farm laws. She also added that farmers should be revered for their efforts in calling out against wrong decisions imposed by the center. Further, she targeted the union government by saying that the Modi government trying the sell the economy of the country. 

She also said that the opposition party wants to have a detailed discussion about the border standoff but the center is avoiding the same. the center was further targeted she alleged that inflation is soaring high and the economy is crumbling in India.

The final accusation she put on the Modi government was the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs. She called this decision unmindful and outrageous. Many opposition parties are still protesting against the decision of suspension of MPs. they held a protest in front of the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex.
