SP MLA Irfan Solanki surrenders before the commissioner, accused of threatening the woman and burning her house

Samajwadi Party's Kanpur MLA Irfan Solanki, who has been absconding for the past few days, has surrendered in the court on Friday. Along with Irfan Solanki, his brother Rizwan Solanki has also surrendered. Earlier, Irfan Solanki was seen in Mumbai, whose pictures also surfaced. During this MLA Hasan Rumi and Amitabh Bajpai were also present with him. Last month, he was booked by the police for allegedly harassing a woman and setting her house on fire in a land dispute and was on the run since then.

Was running for 30 days

Irfan Solanki and his brother were absconding for almost 30 days. When Irfan reached the police commissioner's residence to surrender, he had tears in his eyes. He did not answer any questions from the media. The media asked Irfan and Rizwan where were you all these days? Both remained silent on this. The entire family and SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai, city president are also present with him. Today, Irfan surrendered even before the attachment notice was pasted. This action is being taken against the MLA and his brother on the charge of burning the house of a neighboring woman.

Allegation of arson

Irfan Solanki's family had also talked to the commissioner for surrender. Irfan's mother and family had asked the commissioner about security. According to sources, after taking him into remand, the police will now interrogate him. Irfan and Rizwan have been taken to the police line. Irfan and Rizwan will be taken from the police line and given medical treatment. There is an allegation against him of arson and threatening in Jajmau police station.
