Spicejet Emergency Landing: Why Dubai bound flight had to land in Karachi

Another SpiceJet flight was reported to have made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan, it was being told that due to a technical fault in the plane, the plane was landed at Karachi Airport. According to news agency ANI, all the passengers on board were safe.

More than 150 members

More than 150 passengers were on board the plane. The good thing is that all the passengers are safe. SpiceJet spokesperson has said that the SpiceJet B737 aircraft was en route from Delhi to Dubai. The plane was diverted for Karachi airport due to a fault in the indicator light. This is the sixth such incident involving a SpiceJet aircraft in the last 17 days. The DGCA is probing all the six incidents.

The spokesman said that the plane landed safely in Karachi and the passengers were evacuated safely. It has been told by SpiceJet that there was no emergency declaration and the aircraft made a normal landing. He has also clarified that there was no earlier report of any disturbance in the plane.

Reason for emergency landing

An unusual decrease in the amount of fuel in the left tank of the aircraft began to appear when the Delhi-Dubai-bound Boeing 737 MAX aircraft was in the air, officials said. Therefore, the aircraft was diverted towards Karachi, he added. When checked at the Karachi airport, there was no leak from the left tank. SpiceJet's Delhi-Dubai flight was on Tuesday diverted towards Karachi due to a fault in the fuel indicator. This information has been given by the officials of aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). 

On the other hand, as soon as the news of emergency landing came, some people started sharing things about the problems being faced in SpiceJet flight on social media. Some people started saying that there is something wrong with this airline.
