In addition to the use of bulldozers at the home of the Mafia Atiq Ahmed, raids are also being carried out as part of the UP police’s ongoing investigation into the murder of Umesh Pal. While searching for Saista Parveen, Atiq Ahmed’s fugitive wife, the STF squad searched the village of Kokhraj in Gansari. Three houses and family members were questioned, but no sign of Siesta was discovered.
On March 11, CCTV footage of Shaista surfaced, in which she is seen with Sabir, a two and a half lakh prize shooter. Sabir is the same person who shot Umesh Pal’s gunner in the car. Umesh Pal’s wife, Jaya Pal, had given the names Atiq Ahmed, Ashraf, Shaista Parveen, Guddu Muslim, and Ghulam. The police later named Atiq’s son Asad as an accused in this case.
Umar, the oldest son of Ateeq, and Ali Ahmed, the second son, are both in prison. Asad, the third son, is missing in the murder of Umesh. Ehjam Ahmed and Aban Ahmed, the fourth and fifth sons, are currently absent. According to the police, both of the youngsters are housed there. Shaista Parveen is claiming that both of her sons are missing on multiple occasions. Shaista has also asked to submit both of her sons in an application at the Allahabad High Court.
