After the change of power in Bihar, an angry mob attacked the car of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's convoy in the capital Patna. The mob shattered the windows of the car included in the CM's convoy. However, only the convoy of CM's car was passing at the time of the incident. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not present in any car of the convoy at that time.

Reason for stone pelting

According to the information, the body of a young man who went missing about a week ago was found in Beur. The villagers got angry about this. People had blocked the road and when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's convoy passed, they started throwing stones. After the incident, the police of nearby police stations reached the spot. The police dispersed the crowd with the help of sticks

Angry over the killing of the youth, they blocked the Patna-Gaya main road by keeping the dead body. During the same demonstration, the cars of Carcade started passing through the road due to which angry villagers pelted stones on the convoy. Due to this, the windows of many vehicles were broken. Some people have also gotten hurt due to stone pelting.

CM Nitish going to visit Gaya

CM Nitish Kumar is going to visit Gaya on Monday. He will hold a meeting on the drought situation there, and will also inspect a rubber dam being built here. The Chief Minister would go to Gaya by helicopter, but his carcade was being sent from Patna to Gaya to reach other places from the helipad. 

It is being said that a youth resident of the place where this incident of stone pelting took place was missing for the last few days. Local people were very angry after his body was found on Sunday, they jammed it by keeping the body on Patna-Gaya main road. During this, when the CM's carcade passed through Katwan, angry villagers threw stones at him.
