Such percentage of corona cases decreased in a week

Coronavirus infection is now decreasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. About 30 percent of active cases have come down in a week. On May 9, the active cases were 1567 and now it has come down to 1097. In such a situation, 470 active cases of corona have come down. On the other hand, 138 new patients were found on Monday and 186 more patients became healthy.

Gautam Buddha Nagar with the highest cases

In Uttar Pradesh, 70 patients were found in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 20 in Ghaziabad, 11 in Lucknow in the last 24 hours. Less than five patients were found in the remaining 21 districts. Not a single patient was found in 51 districts. At present, the maximum number of 417 patients are in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 196 in Ghaziabad at number two and 102 in Lucknow at number three. Rest of the districts have less than 35 patients.

The progress of the covid vaccination campaign is satisfactory. But there is a need to accelerate the vaccination of children. With over 32 crore 09 lakh covid vaccinations, the entire population of 18 plus age has received at least one dose of the vaccine, while more than 90% of adults have received both doses.

CM Yogi instructs officials

New cases are also being found in Bundelkhand. In the meeting of Team 09, CM Yogi asked the officials to effectively implement the system of wearing face masks in public places in districts with high positivity rates. We have to be vigilant about the health safety of children. We have to take utmost care and caution.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials that in such districts where there are more corona patients, it should be ensured that people wear masks in public places. Trace, test and treat policy should be implemented successfully.
