Tiffin found in suspicious condition in Rohini DC Chowk in Rohini's DC Chowk Sector 9 created panic in the area. On receiving the information, the team of police, dog squad, bomb disposal squad and fire brigade reached the spot. After investigation, nothing objectionable was found in the tiffin. The DCP of Rohini district said that there was nothing suspicious in the tiffin.
However, this rumour created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. The people around were apprehensive. The police had also evacuated nearby shops and offices. After this the bag was opened, in which nothing suspicious was found. The IB has issued an alert regarding security in the capital Delhi on August 15.
In January this year, before the Republic Day, the Delhi Police Control Room had received the news of an unclaimed bag outside the gate number one of Ghazipur vegetable market in Delhi. The Delhi Police team reached the spot after the news of the unclaimed bag at the control room. The police team found something suspicious in the bag, after which the information about this suspicious bag was given to the top officers and NSG. Bomb disposal squad was also called to the spot.
