Tata Motors as a brand made an early entry to the Electronic Vehicles market in India with Tata Nexon one of its hot-selling Electronic vehicles (EV). While Tata Motors has recently launched the new Tigor EV in India at an affordable price. Tata Tigor EV is the second Tata Product to come with ZipTron powertrain after the Nexon EV. The design of the new Tata Tigor EV is more or less similar to ICE Tigor. However, the car comes with an updated Front Grille with EV badging that states that it’s an Electric vehicle.
While the Tata Tigor EV 2021 also comes loaded with an updated Alloy Wheels with Blue Accents and Blue Elements in the interiors as well, which also indicates towards its nature of an electric vehicle.

Along with the Harman 4-speakers sound system, the Tata Tigor EV car comes with Tata iRA connected car tech with 30+ connected car features. The Tata Tigor EV also has Dual Airbags, ABS, EBD, and has been 4 Star Rated in the Global NCAP test.
The new Tata Tigor EV range in India is promised at 306km range (claimed) and can go to 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. However, the Tata Tigor EV’s actual range can differ from 170-180km and purely depends upon your driving environment and style.
The Tata Tigor EV can be easily charged through CCS 2 fast charger support and also through 26kwh Lithium-Ion Battery Pack. While the CCS 2 Fast Charger Support charges 0-80 % using DC Fast Charger in 60 Mins, however, the car charges up to 0-80 % using the home charger in 8.5 hrs. While there is an 8 year/1.6lakh km warranty on the battery pack.
The Tata Tigor EV comes with a power of 74bhp and 170 NM torque. The Tata Tigor EV also has a Sport mode that provides you instant torque. While the overall driving performance of the Tata Tigor EV is good.
