Terrorist attack in Maisuma, Srinagar, two CRPF personnel injured

Militants carried out a sudden attack on Monday afternoon in Maisuma area of Srinagar. Two CRPF personnel have been injured in this attack. He was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Terrorists have stepped up attack on non-locals in the Kashmir Valley, carrying out two strikes in successive days. On Monday, Patleshwar Kumar and Jako Choudhury, from Bihar were injured in terrorist fire in Lajoora, Pulwama. Two labourers from Punjab – Dheeraj Dutt and Surinder Singh, were shot on Sunday in Nowpara, also in Pulwama.

The two locals were shot in the Nowpora Litter area of Pulwama. Both the labourers received gunshot injuries and were immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment, the police informed.

Three days ago, a Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist was gunned down in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district. Two army personnel were also injured in the gunbattle.
