The Kerala Story: Mumbai Police beefs up security after film crew members receive threats

The movie "The Kerala Story" cannot get itself out of controversy. New information is emerging in the meantime. The director of the movie, Sudipto Sen, reportedly alerted Mumbai Police that a threat message was sent to a member of the cast of his movie, "The Kerala Story," from an unknown phone number.
The controversial movie "The Kerala Story" has been outlawed immediately by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. According to the government of Bengal, this action has been taken to prevent "any incident of hatred and violence" in the region. The official stated that any theatre displaying the movie will face consequences. Banerjee recently claimed that 'The Kerala Story', a book intended to malign Kerala, has twisted the truth about some events.
