While coffee has long been king in the south of India, where it is known as filter coffee, the beverage rose to national prominence in the early 2000s during a cafe culture boom with the expansion of India's IT industries. At the moment, about half of India's population drinks coffee, making it a significant market for numerous coffee companies. The two leading brands in the Indian coffee industry are Starbucks and Tim Hortons. One of the top coffee brands, Tim Hortons, has been sampled by Nikita Varma. It is the largest coffee company in Canada and provides nearly all of the country with up to 5 million cups of coffee per day. On average, every Canadian visits Tim Hortons once a month.
Starbucks: Starbucks was established in Seattle in 1971. supplying clients with freshly roasted coffee beans, tea, and spices to take home from around the globe. Because Starbucks converted to a coffee shop in 1987, a new era for the company began. The rest is history it is a leader in coffee production.
