Senior diplomat Sanjay Sudhir has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates on 02nd November 2021. Sudhir is a 1993 batch of Indian Foreign Service officers and will succeed in Pavan Kapoor. Kapoor has been appointed as the Ambassador of India to Russia. According to the statement of the Ministry of External Affairs, Sudhir will take charge soon.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has launched the Sangam app, which helps in learning commonly spoken sentences in 22 languages. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that in the Bhasha Sangam initiative, 100 sentences in 22 languages have been uploaded on the 'Diksha Platform', which has content in Indian sign languages along with video, audio. Dharmendra Pradhan said that there are many languages, folk traditions, cuisines, etc. in our country and we are one with these diversities.
