The Toyota Glanza is based on the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno but looks quite different. Launched in four different trim options - E, S, G and V, the Toyota Glanza will compete with cars like the Hyundai i20 and the Honda Jazz.

The Glanza gets the same power unit as the facelifted Maruti Baleno: a 90PS/113Nm 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine, paired with idle-engine start/stop (instead of the mild-hybrid tech). Transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed MT and an optional 5-speed AMT (replacing the earlier CVT).
