True Or False? Does Sweating Mean More Fat Burn?

There are three things to keep in mind while believing the common perception that sweating results in fat burn.

  • Sweating doesn’t necessarily mean fat burning: Many times we think of overdoing work or go to someplace where there is a lot of heat thinking it will help in fat burn, but that doesn’t happen all the time.

  • It’s a very individualistic thing that one person is sweating a lot after exhaustion and the second might not. That depends on person to person. It depends on your body needs and temperature. So the level of sweating has nothing to do with the exhaustion level.

  • Your heart rate should always be up while you workout so that your calories burn a lot faster and more. You can even try HIIT. You should try training exercises which are comfortable for you as well as a little challenging so that your heart rate increases and by default you will sweat.
