Ever since Tesla CEO Elon Musk took over the reins of Twitter. Since then, a lot of upheaval is being seen in Twitter. Only after Elon Musk, Twitter CEO Parag Aggarwal and CFO Ned Segal were sacked from the company, not only that, but they were also thrown out of the company's headquarters. Elon Musk announced to buy Twitter on 13 April. Now again Twitter has made an announcement that it is going to launch Blue subscription package for its users. This service is going to be launched again on Monday.

New addition with subscription package

After verification, users will be given a blue tick. Along with this, users will also get the right to edit the content of their tweets. However, users will be able to edit the content within 30 minutes. Apart from this, you can also upload 1080p videos. Along with this, long tweets can also be done. Tweets of users taking subscriptions will get priority and they will see 50 percent less ads than the same users.

Interestingly, if the users change the photo or name on their profile, then their blue tick will be removed and after re-verification, the blue tick will be given again. It is believed that the company has launched this feature to crack down on users who change their profile photos and names in protest against any particular campaign.
