In support of Nupur Sharma's statement, the accused who killed Kanhaiyalal of Udaipur had also run a chit fund in the case of viral post on social media. The NIA and the SIT are now probing the matter from where the money used to come to him and where was he spending it. Both the accused in the murder case were shifted to the Central Jail in Ajmer late on Thursday night. This jail is considered to be the safest jail in the state, where terrorists are kept.
Additional Superintendent of Police Gopal Swaroop Mewada, attached to the SIT, said that it has also been found in the investigation that Mohammad Ghaus and Riyaz, accused in the Kanhaiyalal murder case, used to operate the chit fund. Now the team of NIA and SIT is investigating that who was investing money in their chit fund scheme and where and for what purposes the collected money was being spent.It is noteworthy that on June 28, Mohammad Ghaus, a resident of Kishanpol and his friend Riyaz, brutally murdered Kanhaiyalal, a tailor, by beheading the tailor in Dhanmandi police station area. After this, he made a video viral by sitting at SK Engineers and confessing that he had committed the murder and had warned of the assassination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Six hours after the incident, Rajsamand police arrested both the accused from Bhim town. SIT and NIA are now investigating this matter. Mohammad Ghaus and Riyaz, accused of murder late on Thursday night, were shifted to the Central Jail in Ajmer.
