The work of the first phase of Mahakal Corridor in Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh has been completed. If reports are to be believed, PM Modi will reach Ujjain on October 11 to launch. Earlier, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh took stock of the Mahakal corridor. CM saw the entire Mahakal corridor along with the officials through the battery car, the construction of the Mahakal corridor has been done in a grand manner. You can also see these views of the corridor.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Ujjain on October 11 to inaugurate the first phase of the Mahakal corridor. The government has now started preparing for it." It is being told that about Rs 750 crore has been spent to complete this project. This corridor has been built near Rudrasagar adjoining the Mahakal temple. Here beautiful carvings have been done on the stones and attractive lighting has been done. At night, the grandeur of this corridor is visible.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate it on 11 October. This corridor is also four times bigger than Kashi. How important is the Mahakal temple of Ujjain for BJP, you can understand it from the fact that the first branch of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the mother organization of BJP, was established in the Mahakal temple premises itself. The branch of the RSS, which came out of the Mahakal temple, had expanded almost all over the country today.
Many things are going to be built in the corridor like- Shiv Tandav Stotra, Shiva Vivah, Mahakaleshwar Vatika, Mahakaleshwar Marg, Shiva Avatar Vatika, Dharamshala, Parking Service etc. For the construction of this corridor, Rs 422 crore has been given by the state government, Rs 21 crore by the temple committee and the rest by the central government. Under the Mahakal Corridor Project, the construction of the 920 meter long corridor, Mahakal temple entrance, shops, idols on the Rudrasagar side started on March 7, 2019.
