He gave Ukraine his complete support at their meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky. He made it abundantly apparent that he wouldn't reverse his predecessor's stance of aiding Ukraine. According to Sunak, the Ukrainian army will be able to quickly fire down Russian drones and destroy missiles with the help of a new air defense equipment he would provide.
According to Sunak, Britain will soon provide Ukraine military support worth $60 million. Anti-aircraft weapons and other tools will be part of this aid, which will be able to locate and eliminate drones. Additionally, Russian missiles can be shot down in the air using radar technology. Although the Ukrainian military continues to bring Russian troops on ground, Sunak claimed that aerial attacks on civilians are still happening in many places and it’s time to focus on boosting air security.
