UK PM Election: Rishi is ahead in the race for the post of PM, but 'rich' can become a roadblock

In the contest to become the next prime minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak is considered as trailing. However, as the election process to choose the Conservative leader to succeed Boris Johnson and the leader for the position of Prime Minister is still ongoing, nothing can be revealed at this time. Rishi Sunak, who is lagging in the race to succeed Boris Johnson as prime minister, came under fire for suggesting this on Friday.

According to claims appearing in the British media, Sunak is reportedly investing thousands of pounds in the construction of a private swimming pool at his North Yorkshire residence. According to British media, the future PM is busy constructing private pools similar to these while the residents of this area prepare to wash their swimming pools due to expensive power.

Meanwhile, The truss received the approval of 60% of Conservative Party members, while Sunak was backed by 26%. The rest are still undecided on who to back. According to surveys, truss is outpacing Sunak across the board, whatever of age group or geographic location. Only one area in which Sunak outperforms Truss is the support of party members who voted for Britain to remain in the EU in 2016. Sunak's support for Brexit (leaving the European Union) and Truss's preference to stay in the union are incompatible, though.
