Unnao Accident: Four vehicles collided on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway, two burnt alive due to fire in dumper

On the Kanpur-Lucknow highway, near Chamrauli in Ajgain area, once again a horrific road accident took place due to negligence. Suddenly a truck driver applied brakes and three speeding vehicles from behind collided with each other. The collision was so severe that two people were burnt alive in a dumper loaded with ballast.

Fire broke out after collision

Near Chamrauli village of Ajgain police station area, at around 6:30 am today, the driver of a speeding truck going from Lucknow towards Kanpur hit the brakes and the dumper and the truck running behind collided with each other. The fire broke out as soon as the collision took place. Due to the wood being loaded in a truck, the fire became more intense. As soon as the incident happened on the highway, brakes were applied on the speed of vehicles passing from behind.

Police gives information

After this accident, there was a jam of several kilometers on the Kanpur-Lucknow National Highway. On the other hand, the police of Ajgain Kotwali, who reached the information, started taking out the dead bodies by controlling the fire of the dumper. Ajgain Kotwali incharge told that the dead body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Along with this, efforts were also made to start the traffic by removing the vehicles from the highway.
