On Wednesday, the Yogi administration in Uttar Pradesh will deliver its budget to the assembly. This time, the government is expected to offer a historic budget of around Rs 7 lakh crore. This will place a focus on women, youth empowerment, farmers, new infrastructure, and development projects in anticipation of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024!
Suresh Khanna stated during his budget address, "Under the "Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana," which is being run to encourage the general people to have favorable attitudes towards the girl child, each beneficiary receives a benefit of Rs. 15,000." The projected provision for the fiscal year 2023–2024 is Rs 1050 crore. The maintenance grant scheme for needy widows currently provides pensions to 32 million 62 thousand destitute women. In the budget for the years 2023 and 2024, a budget allocation of Rs 4032 crore is suggested for this.
