UP: Dengue havoc in Aligarh, death of village development officer, more than 150 active cases

After the rain in the Aligarh district of UP, dengue is now wreaking havoc. The number of dengue patients in the district has crossed 150. At the same time, Village Development Officer Ranjit Singh posted at Bijauli block of Tehsil Atrauli area died of dengue. It is being told that the village development officer was suffering from dengue for the last week. There has been a stir in the health department after the officer's death due to dengue.

Panic in health department

This was the first death due to dengue in the district. In such a situation, there has been panic in the health department. An awareness campaign has been started from the city to the countryside. On Wednesday, seven new dengue patients were reported in the district. Now the total number of infected in the district has crossed 150. At present, more than 150 dengue infected is being treated in various hospitals in the district. The Health Department says that the number of dengue victims is increasing rapidly. All efforts are being made to eradicate dengue.

The spraying and Fogging campaign started

Many cases of dengue have been reported in Narupura village in the last fortnight. It has become a hot spot for dengue. At the same time, District Malaria Officer Dr. Rahul Kulshrestha informed us that teams are active across the district regarding dengue. A spraying and fogging campaign is being conducted.
