Legislative Assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh are all set to be held in 2022. As the election are advancing, all political parties of the state have started creating their strategies to ensure that they turn out victorious in the elections and are also making claims about the number of seats they will secure. While on one hand, the National President of Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav, believes that his party will win 400 of 403 assembly seats, the last time triumphant Bharatiya Janata Party, believes that it will break it’s own record of securing 312 of 403 seats and will once again form the government in state.Congress to start it's campaign from Varanasi
The grand old party,Indian National Congress, is also preparing itself to compete with other parties and secure a win this time. Party’s general secretary and state election in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, will start the election campaign by addressing a rally in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency, Varanasi on October 9,2021. She will also start party’s ‘Pratigya Yatra’ from the same place on October 7, which will then advance to the entire state. Reportedly, the party will create ground level organisational structure to contest in elections this year. Hence, Congress party is all set to start it’s election drive,under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi, by taking the blessings of Baba Vishwanath.BJP to contest as alliance
Just like Congress, BJP is also preparing hard to enter the election contest and ensure that the result turns in it’s favour. Earlier, Union Minister and BJP’s UP election in-charge, Dharmendra Pradhan, in a press conference in Lucknow, informed that BJP has formed alliance with NISHAD Party and both the parties,along with Apna Dal, which is already the part of alliance, will contest election together. He also commented that the entrance of NISHAD party in the alliance will strengthen their position in the UP assembly election 2022.
It will be interesting to see who among Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress, Samajwadi Party and others will turn out victorious in the election and will form government in Uttar Pradesh in 2022.
