UP government on alert regarding Monkeypox. Health Department issued advisory.

In view of the increasing cases of monkeypox in many countries, the Yogi government has issued guidelines regarding this infection in Uttar Pradesh. Even though no patient has been found in the state regarding this infection, the health department is fully alert to fight the disease.

Even though there is no patient in Uttar Pradesh regarding this infection yet, the health department is fully alert to fight the disease. Under which the in-charges of PHC-CHC have been instructed to give information immediately on receipt of the patient, taking vigilance. Instructions have also been issued to set up a 10-bed ward in the State Medical College so that patients can be admitted and treated with immediate effect.

After the corona infection, the health department has issued an alert regarding the rapidly spreading monkey and chicken pox disease across the country and has also issued an advisory for symptoms and treatment. Samples of suspected patients will be sent to labs located in Pune for treatment in private hospitals including the government.

Instructions issued

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to take precautions in the state in view of the increasing cases of monkeypox infection in various countries. He has ordered the top officials to make the general public aware about the symptoms, treatment etc. of monkeypox according to the guidelines of the Government of India. He said that people with suspicious symptoms should get their blood tested. Even though no case has come to the fore regarding monkeypox, the health department in the state started its preparations. The Health Department is taking full vigil in the state and instructions have also been given by the department to make a ten-bed ward in the Government Medical College.
