UP Rain: Bad condition of many areas in Uttar Pradesh due to rain, water filled in many places

Incessant rain in Uttar Pradesh has flooded many areas. The Meteorological Department had already issued an alert of very heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Last night it rained very heavily. In UP, there was such a havoc of rain that 9 people died in Lucknow and 3 in Unnao. Along with this, he has instructed the officers across the state to be on alert mode.

Schools and colleges closed in Lucknow

People are facing a lot of problems due to the problem of jamming on the roads due to water logging. Due to heavy rains, an order has been issued to keep all the schools, colleges and government and non-government offices closed in the capital Lucknow and surrounding areas on Friday. This order has been issued by Lucknow District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar. 

The rain that started in Lucknow on Thursday afternoon turned into rain by evening, and this process continues unabated since late night. Due to which the problem of water logging as well as power failure has appeared in many areas of the capital. Due to the torrential rains that night in many areas, houses were flooded. Due to incessant rains, transformers were blown up in many parts of the capital. Due to which there has been a power crisis in those areas since late night.

Officials review the situation

When the information about water filling in the municipal control room started coming from place to place, all the big officers including Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob and Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh set out on a tour at 3 am. In many areas including River Bank Colony, Shaktinagar, Triveni Nagar, officials visited and took stock. The work of extracting water by installing pumping sets is being done on a war footing. The administration has advised people to stay in their homes when it is not very necessary.
