UP School Reopen Date: Schools from Class 1 to 5 to open from 1st September, while following the Covid-19 protocols

The education system was quite affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic but is getting back on track soon. 

The Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order to open primary schools of all boards from classes one to five from 1st September after announcing that classes 6 to 8 will start in junior high schools from 23rd August. While the classes for secondary, higher, technical, and vocational educational institutions with 50 percent capacity have already commenced from 16th August 2021.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government has issued an order to start education in primary schools. The Director-General School Education has been asked to complete the arrangements for conducting education in schools, as the Basic Education Department will issue detailed Covid-19 guidelines soon. RV Singh, Special Secretary, Basic Education, has ordered to conduct physical education in the schools of Basic Education Council, recognized and other boards.

The offline teaching as per the Covid-19 protocols is to be done in the schools from class six to eight from 23rd August and in the schools from class one to five from 1st September. While the Basic Education Department will now issue guidelines regarding the percentage of children attending schools so that physical distance remains between them.
