UPSC Topper Gamini Singla's dream of becoming an IAS has come true. UPSC CSE Topper AIR 3

The Union Public Service Commission declared the results on Monday. 23-year-old Gamini Singla, who is an alumnus of Punjab Engineering College\Chandigarh, has secured third position in Civil Services Examination 2021. Gamini Singla, who hails from Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, has completed her B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from PEC in 2019.

Gamini said that the dream is happy to be fulfilled. This was his second attempt for UPSC.she studied for nine to 10 hours everyday to prepare for the exam.she got the support of his father to prepare for the exam. Singla said that women are capable of achieving anything with hard work and dedication. I have chosen the Indian Administrative Service. I will work for the development of the country and welfare of the people. Gemini also credited her parents for her success. Giving a message to the youth,she said that dream and give life to fulfill them.

Gamini's father Dr. Alok Singla and Dr. Neerja Singla are medical officers in the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh and her brother is a graduate of IIT, Kharagpur.

Other students who have cleared the exam

26-year-old Jaspinder Singh of Bhullar village of Muktsar has secured 33rd rank in the civil services examination and has brought laurels to the area along with his parents. 23-year-old Naman Singla from Patiala has secured 47th rank in the civil services examination. Sujawal Jagga, son of a teacher-couple in Abohar, Punjab, has brought laurels to his parents and small town by securing 84th rank in the examination.
