Uttar Pradesh Mathrubhumi Yojana has been launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the aim of developing villages through public participation. It has also been decided by the Uttar Pradesh government to appoint Panchayat assistants to communicate with the citizens who are cooperating in this scheme. The information related to the UP Mathrubhumi Yojana will also be provided to the administration by the Panchayat Assistants. Panchayat assistants have been appointed by the state government for the first time. A maximum of ₹ 10000 will be paid to all panchayat assistants from the amount given by the government and the donor.
The main objective of Uttar Pradesh Mathrubhumi Yojana 2022 is to develop the rural areas of the state. Through this scheme, citizens will be provided direct participation in various works of infrastructure development in the villages. 50% of the cost of these projects will be borne by the government and 50% will be provided by the citizen. In return the project will be named as desired by the collaborator. Through this scheme, citizens will be encouraged to provide financial assistance in development works. Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh Mathrubhumi Yojana will also prove effective in developing villages.
Uttar Pradesh Mathrubhumi Yojana has been launched by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath .
Through this scheme, citizens will be provided direct participation in various works of infrastructure development in the villages.
50% of the total cost of the project will be borne by the government and the remaining 50% will be provided by the citizen.
In return the project will be named as per the wish of the collaborator.
So that the person concerned can get full credit for the project by paying half the expenditure on the scheme.
Instructions have also been given by the government to submit an action plan to the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department for the formal launch of this scheme.
The announcement to launch this scheme has been made on 15 September 2021.
The Chief Minister had organized a virtual program at the government residence 5 Kalidas Marg.
Through this program, information was also provided by the Chief Minister that the government is continuously working for social development in the villages.
Through this scheme, health centers, anganwadis, libraries, stadiums, gymnasiums, open gyms, cattle breed improvement centers, fire service stations etc. can be established in the villages.
Apart from this, citizens will also participate in installation of CCTV, solar lights, STP plant for sewerage.
Applicant should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
